Struggling householders 'need to gain support quickly'
Rather than struggling on their own, householders with financial issues have been encouraged by one politician to address their problems as soon as they can, which may interest those with homeowner loans.
According to Eric Pickles, the coalition government's communities secretary, complacency is not something that should set in when it comes to repossessions.
He stated: "There is no room for complacency - struggling homeowners must take early advice to have the best chance of staying in their homes."
Mr Pickles went on to say that he is aiming to provide support to struggling householders if they require it.
The minister made his remarks following the publication of repossessions figures by the Council of Mortgage Lenders.
A drop in repossessions of 400 was witnessed between the first and second quarter of this year, the organisation revealed.
Back in May, the announcement that home information packs were to be scrapped was made by Mr Pickles, shortly after the formation of the nation's coalition government.
