Retirement planning 'a top advice driver'
Consumers are most likely to seek expert financial advice over issues relating to retirement planning, according to new research.
The study by Unbiased.co.uk revealed that more than a third of consumers sought guidance on preparing for life after work, while other popular advice topics included investment and savings and mortgages.
Other notable issues to appear in the top ten advice drivers included Isas, personal stakeholder pensions, taxation planning and personal protection.
Karen Barrett, chief executive of Unbiased.co.uk, suggested the recent emergency Budget will have encouraged many people to examine their finances to understand how any changes may affect them.
She added: "Retirement planning in particular is a vastly complex area and only an independent financial adviser can look at all factors relevant to an individual and their circumstances, and recommend the best solution for them."
Loans&Credit.com recently suggested that people seeking personal loans should not be afraid about asking for the advice of experts.
