New financial guide launched for consumers
A new guide designed to help consumers boost their knowledge of a range of financial products has been launched by Scottish Widows.
The firm's Your Little Book of Money 2010 considers the hot topics affecting the financial services market at present, as well as how this impacts on products such as personal loans, mortgages and investments.
Scottish Widows has decided to launch this year's guide online in order to meet demand for web-based advice services.
Stuart Green, senior brand manager for the firm, said: "Whether people need to get to grips with savings or pensions, want to know more about investments, or would simply like to become a little more financially savvy, Your Little Book of Money 2010 is the jargon-free guide to their financial well-being."
The Consumer Credit Counselling Service recently urged consumers across the UK to improve their understanding and management of financial products by using its Money Matters service.
