Credit card users 'need to cover minimum payments'
It is vital that credit card users meet their minimum monthly repayments, according to one financial expert.
People might end up facing extra penalties if they are unable to meet their obligations, Moneydashboard.com's Gavin Littlejohn has suggested in an article published by the Scotsman.
Mr Littlejohn, the site's chief executive, also offered some guidance to consumers regarding their credit card spending habits.
He noted in his article: "If you're running out of cash it's tempting to bung things on your credit card to avoid going overdrawn.
"But this only makes sense if you can revise your budget."
Credit cards should not be used for cash withdrawals, Mr Littlejohn also pointed out to debtors.
